If you are looking for high quality, original, yet affordable art, you will find here a wealth of incomparable artwork by the members of the Van Emmenis family. All purchased artwork is original and unique, completed in a variety of mediums. A certificate of authentication and valuation of the artwork, signed by the artist, will be included when shipping the item to the buyer.
Artwork is typically available on the following materials: loose, roll-up canvas, stretched canvas (stretched over a light wooden frame), boxed canvas (glued onto board, then stretched over a frame) or canvas board (canvas glued onto board). When a painting is completed on boxed or stretched canvas, the sides are painted as well, making it possible to hang the completed artwork without framing it. If so desired, any of the artwork can also be completed on leather. Please contact us directly for artwork on slate. When adding an item to your cart, please specify your desired material in the Available Options (Material) selection.
We make every effort to ensure that the images on this site give a clear, accurate representation of the artwork. Buyers have often told us that when it looks good on the site, it looks even better in real life! However, if for any reason you decide you do not like the received artwork, we offer a full money-back guarantee. Just notify us within 7 days of receiving your purchase, return the item within 30 days and we will refund you the price you have paid upon satisfactory return of the work in its original condition. You will only need to pay the return shipping charge.
We retain works on the site even after they have been sold as this gives a better perspective on capabilities and portfolio of the individual artist. Normally you will be notified of the out-of-stock status before checking out. However, you can still proceed and order the artwork. A new original artwork, very similar to the original image will then be produced for you by the same artist. You will be kept informed of the process via email. If you are not satisfied with the reproduced work of art, you will receive a full refund including shipping costs.
Our artists are delighted to take on commission work, such as portraits of people, animals, houses or trophy paintings. They will also be happy to paint you a new composition based on a previous work in their portfolio, or something to your own requirements. For example, any specific scene shown on this site, can be commissioned in another size or medium, or completed with different coloration or background. Artists normally require a 50% payment at the start of the commission.
